In the bustling heart of The Dubai Mall, where fashion and innovation converge, a new Nike store was set to make its debut. To ensure that this store stood out in a city known for its opulence and style, bespoke sculptures were needed. Dutch Deco Factory, renowned for their craftsmanship, was entrusted with the task of creating two remarkable pieces: the DXB logo and the Arabic Nike sign, both of which were destined to become iconic features of the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sun & Sand Sports Dubai, a premier destination for sports and lifestyle products, sought to create a Nike store that would resonate with the vibrant spirit of Dubai. They understood that incorporating local elements into the store’s design was key to making a lasting impression. To bring this vision to life, they collaborated with Dutch Deco Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design: Nike Europe’s Creative Vision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The creative inspiration for these sculptures came from Nike Europe, a design powerhouse synonymous with innovation and style. They envisioned sculptures that would not only showcase the Nike brand but also pay homage to Dubai’s rich culture and heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create: 3D Printing Magic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Arabic letters and logos that make up these sculptures were meticulously 3D printed using PLA, a versatile and durable material that lends itself well to intricate designs. This choice allowed for precision and attention to detail in crafting the Arabic Nike sign and the DXB logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finish: Liquid Metal Brilliance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The finishing touches applied to these sculptures were nothing short of spectacular. The Arabic sign received a finish in DDF chrome liquid metal, creating a stunning, reflective surface that exuded sophistication and modernity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the DXB logo, Dutch Deco Factory employed their innovative Chameleon coating technique, blending shades of blue and purple. This choice not only captured the essence of Nike’s branding but also added a dynamic and visually captivating element to the store’s interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arabic Nike sign, with its chrome liquid metal finish, stood as a testament to precision and craftsmanship. It shone brilliantly, catching the eye of every visitor, and symbolized the union of Nike’s global appeal with the spirit of Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DXB logo, with its chameleon-like hues, symbolized the ever-changing and dynamic nature of the city of Dubai. It was a nod to the city’s ability to constantly reinvent itself, just as Nike does with its products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dutch Deco Factory, through their mastery of materials and finishes, played a pivotal role in bringing Nike’s creative vision to life. Their commitment to excellence ensured that these sculptures not only met but exceeded the expectations of all who encountered them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the heart of The Dubai Mall, this Nike store became more than a retail space. It became an experience, where culture, innovation, and style converged seamlessly. Thanks to the craftsmanship of Dutch Deco Factory, these bespoke sculptures stood as beacons of creativity and artistry, elevating the Nike experience in Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the new to open Nike Store in The Dubai Mall some very impressive sculptures were needed. We created the DXB logo and the Arabic Nike sign behind the counter. It means ‘Win Victory Love Dubai’ in Arabic.<\/p>\n
